Donna's Story

Life Hi everyone! Not much to say about my life. Married Lyle Van Dyke in 1970, lived in Walteria until 1983, when we moved to the Monterey Bay Area, then on to Penn Valley about 60 miles northeast of Sacramento.Lyle and I have been lucky enough to have acreage and have enjoyed owning many animals. Lyle worked for the government until 2003 when he retired. I have had numerous jobs including Vet Tech,Real Estate Appraisal,Church Secretary and horse trainer and exerciser. hey can be rehomed. We no longer have horses, so our property looks pretty bare. Lyle and I loved the time we spent with our horses. Never thought I would get him interested in them, but he found a paint he fell in love with. I had my mare since 1981 (Arab) and enjoyed doing all of her training. His paint died in 2006,and I had to have my mare put down in 2005. I think Zeb (Paint) died of a broken heart! We feel blessed to have lived in such great places where we could enjoy living the way we love. If you are(or were) friends of Lyle, please read my aannouncement. Until I can think of more to add or aanyone has questions, I guess that's about it. Hope to hhear from you!
